I have a publishing deal!

Wow. Those words feel so good to say! In a year, my book, something I wrote, something that was once a 2,000-word short story– will be on bookshelves nationwide. My story that I have been carefully crafting, developing, editing, and revising for almost 4 years, will be available for the masses to read. This is something I have long dreamt of but always doubted would happen.

The girl who spent every few minutes between classes scribbling down another paragraph... The girl who wrote scenes on the back of receipts at work... The girl who passed around her stories for all of her friends to read... she is getting published!

So if you are like that girl— writing every spare moment, dreaming of a time when something of yours will be on the shelves you so lovingly admire in the stores, don't despair; your time will come.

I want to thank Starry Ink Press for believing in me and my story. I cannot wait for the world to meet Isaac and Yara and learn what it means to be a Light Keeper!
