After his experience battling with The Darkness, Prince Teris seeks out a way to hold faeries living in the human world accountable for their misdeeds. With the help of his Queen, Rosalind, he forms the idea for Light Keepers - humans who will be granted a share of his magic, allowing them to trap faeries in enchanted balls of glass.

The prince gathers the most powerful rulers of the human world and encourages them to bring their best warrior to whom he will bestow the gift of his magic. When the leaders take advantage of his generosity, Prince Teris chooses instead to seek out honorable individuals who will put the needs of others above their own.

Learning to battle powerful creatures and to wield magical items is no easy task. The first Light Keepers face the Baba Yaga, Krampus, greedy elves, and more as they learn to work together and hone their new skills.

With an ever-present enemy spreading around the globe, the first Light Keepers must rise to the challenge or risk the fate of mankind.
